While I have absolutely no desire to accompany Jeanne Socrates on her second attempt at non-stop circumnativation in a 11.5 metre sailboat, I celebrate her gusto.
At the age of seventy, she is living her life fulfilling her dream.
What fascinates me is that last year at this time 77 year old Minoru Saito completed his epic 1,080-day journey sailing single-handed around the world.
I am fairly certain when I finally reach that age, my life adventures will undoubtedly be less public and dramatic.
But still, I will follow a dream that reflects my own way of living a life in crescendo
For, we all can do that.

I think having some “bigger than life” adventure sounds great but conceptualizing what that adventure is to be might take some serious thought…and some serious determination to see it through. I had better start thinking of a bucket list.
